It’s been a long time since I’ve gone tail out, due to FWD, but I did it today in the heavy Z and remembered how great it feels. That’s all. Get sideways.

Kinja'd!!!

Definitely not me

Going sideways in any vehicle that you can get to do it is the best! In college we used to spray down our yard with a hose and put slicks on the back of our go-kart just so we could drift all over the place.

The 86 F150 was one hell of a sideways machine. Glad to be back in a willing vehicle after about 10 years.

Finally had the chance to get the Outback XT sideways around my cul-de-sac last night. Usually the plows keep it clear, but it was late at night and they weren’t fully prepared for the slushie snow we got. Was great smooth fun. My wife watched from the kitchen window and seemed impressed at the sideways antics (at least I’ll tell myself she was impressed).

Hopefully she wasn’t thinking about how many bags she had to pack. Only kidding, of course. My wife was never impressed with anything car related. The girlfriends however...

Snow+550lbs torque+no weight over rear+2wd = lots of fun

Yup, no weight over driving rear wheels=too easy and all of the sideways, whether its 550 ft/lbs (that’s a ton) or 250.

The MR2 can’t help but get sideways in the wet. It’s too good.

My wife hates when I do anything like that with her in the car, but she was at least amused when she could watch me from afar and knew that it was unlikely anything bad would happen.
